A workshop is being held today in Évora, sponsored by the Évora District Prosecutor General's Office, the Office of the Family, Children and Youth of and the Cybercrime Office within the Prosecutor General’s Office under the theme "Tackling the Online Generation Challenge ".

The initiative brings together prosecutors from the “comarcas” of Santarém, Portalegre, Setúbal, Évora, Beja and Faro, with expertise in the area of family and children’ law and in the area of criminal investigation in the digital world.

The identification of the most frequent criminal behaviours involving children and young people and the timely collection of evidence are the priority objectives of the meeting, which also addresses the phenomenon of the use of Internet by children, from a sociological perspective.
