A Cybercrime Office information note on the evolution of the cybercrime phenomena in Portugal after the outbreak of the present epidemiological situation is published. It explains how the number of crimes committed in this area multiplied very significantly during the month of March 2020 (230%, considering the values for the month of February) and even more in April (165% only until April 16, which allows to estimate that, if this trend continues, the increase in April may be greater than 300%).
