The second meeting of CiberRede / CiberRed, the Ibero-American Network of Specialized Prosecutors on Cybercrime, which includes contact points from 19 members countries of the Ibero-American Association of Public Ministries (AIAMP) and is coordinated by the Public Prosecution Service of Portugal is held today and tomorrow (June 25 and 26) in Santiago, Chile.
Following on the deliberations of the first meeting, held on 5 February 2018, at the PGR in Lisbon, this second meeting will discuss possible legislative gaps in the various countries in this area, departing from the international legal frameworks and the recommendations of international organizations. It is also the purpose of this meeting to discuss the concrete problems encountered in investigations and the training and specialization needs of the Public Prosecutor's Offices in the areas of cybercrime and obtaining of digital evidence.
The meeting is supported by the Program GLACY+ of the Council of Europe and the European Union.
