Today, at the Prosecutor General's Office in Lisbon, a meeting of the Cybercrime Network's contact points took place, with the participation of magistrates from all over the country. The Cybercrime Network is composed of 45 prosecutors and is present in all judicial “comarcas”.

Topics discussed included the use of Artificial Intelligence by the Public Prosecution Service (the "Charter for the ethical use of AI by the Public Prosecution Service" was recently published), the upcoming entry into force of the so-called "e-evidence package”, the recent change in the Cybercrime Law, and the legal framework for images of people generated by Artificial Intelligence (the so-called "deepfakes"), among several others.
