Cooperation with the Prosecution Service of São Tomé and Príncipe

A cooperation mission on cybercrime and on obtaining digital evidence, of the Portuguese Prosecutor General’s Office, started today in São Tomé and Príncipe, at the request of the Prosecution Service of São Tomé.

The program of this mission includes a Seminar on Cybercrime and Obtaining Digital Evidence, which opening session was today. It will be followed by several institutional meetings, to support this African country in drafting its law on cybercrime and in the process of accession to the Budapest Convention on Crime.

The opening session of the Seminar was attended by the Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Human Rights and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe. Around 35 participants, most of them judges and prosecutors, but also representatives from the police and the migration and borders service, attended this event.
