This Thursday, 7 December, at the Prosecutor General's Office, a meeting of the Cybercrime Network, the network of contact points for the Cybercrime Office, will take place. This network comprises 41 magistrates, representatives of all the “comarcas” in the national territory, the DIAP and the DCIAP.

At this meeting, specific issues related to criminal investigations in this area are being discussed, such as the seizure of crypto actives or blocking access to Internet pages with malicious content, or even the criminal classification of the so-called “money mules”, among other aspects. Also under discussion is the level of specialization of Public Prosecution Service in this area, the way in which investigations with a multiplicity of victims are coordinated (such as, for example, the widespread phenomenon known as “hello mom, hello dad”) and the necessity of crime prevention.
