Together with representation from Polícia de Segurança Pública and Polícia Judiciária, the MInistério Público participated in the 2nd Conference of the InterCOP/Cybercrime Prevention Forum Network, which took place on 27 and 28 November 2023, at Europol, in The Hague.

Initiatives from other countries in the area of prevention were discussed, targeting young people involved in cybercrime, generally teenagers with high technical skills. The importance of alerting to the illegality of actions of this type was highlighted, in order to be able to reverse the option for the criminal way. The international network InterCOP operates precisely in this area, developing communication campaigns and other activities, in partnership with public and private entities.

This conference was attended by 72 participants from 32 countries. The represented national institutions will continue this initiative together, implementing prevention measures that counter the growing trend of criminal activity in cyberspace by young teenagers.
