Representatives of the Prosecution Office of Armenia visited today the Prosecutor General’s Office and have been received at the Cybercrime Office.

The purpose of this visit was to gather contributions for the improvement of the application to concrete cases of the Armenian legislation in the area of cybercrime, identifying good practices within the European Union and also according to the framework of the Budapest Convention – the Convention of Cybercrime of the Council of Europe. On the other hand, the Armenian authorities also wanted to learn about the way the Portuguese Public Prosecution Service reacts to cybercrime phenomena.

At the request of the delegation of Armenia, the agenda of the meeting included presentations on the Portuguese legal framework in the area of cybercrime and digital evidence and also on the activities of the Cybercrime Office.
